GET RID OF YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS

I don’t deserve to be happy or successful; I am too old to do that; I must be perfect; I will fail. These and many others are limiting beliefs. These are false opinions about ourselves that hold us back and don’t let us succeed at work, in relationships, in business, etc. Limiting beliefs affect every area of life, holding us back and impacting our decisions. It is important to recognize them, change them, and GROW!

Here is a simple practice to help you identify your limiting beliefs:

1. Think about something you want badly. Maybe you want to earn X10 or have a healthy relationship. Write this down.
2. Without thinking, write 16 free associations that come to mind.
3. In the second column, pair the words: the first with the second, the third with the fourth, and so on. Do not overthink! Now you have eight words.
4. In the next column, do the same. Pair the eight associations into four, and continue this process until you have one word.
This last word represents the area that may be stopping you from achieving your desired goal.
